How do I download or update Zoom?

Refer to this How to Join Us On Zoom guide then sign up and download Zoom.

If you already have Zoom, it is important to update your Zoom regularly. Click here for a step-by-step guide to update your Zoom.

Why am I have audio or video trouble?

To fully participate in the training, please download the Zoom application directly to your desktop. We have found that downloading Zoom, rather than signing in from your online browser, helps to mitigate audio and video issues.

Why am I having trouble seeing the polls?

Some attendees experience difficulty viewing the polls. We have found that downloading Zoom, rather than signing in from your online browser, helps to mitigate the issue.

It is also possible that the poll's window opened up behind your Zoom window. Minimize Zoom to see if you can find the poll elsewhere on your screen.

I'm not sure if I have Zoom downloaded to my desktop. Or, I'm not sure if I entered Zoom through the desktop or through the internet browser. How do I check?

1. Go to your device's "start" menu (or, "Launch Pad" on apple products), often found on the bottom left corner of your computer screen.

2. Find the list of applications that are downloaded to your device. Do you see "Zoom" on your application list?

3. If you see "Zoom" on your application list, click on "Zoom," sign in, then join the meeting from the Zoom home screen by clicking "Join" and entering the specific event link.

4. If you do not see "Zoom" on your application list, refer to the resources above to download Zoom.

Can I turn on my microphone or video during the webinar?

No, attendees cannot turn on their video while in webinar mode. Attendees can turn on their microphone only when permitted by the host. To ask questions, use the Q&A chat feature found on the bottom of your Zoom screen.

I am having trouble with Zoom functionality, who can I contact for help?
